Station Wagons
by admin on Jul.29, 2010, under Uncategorized
I’d love to have a station wagon. They may not be the fastest or most attractive cars out there, but they hold special meanings to me. The car my mom drove during my childhood was a blue station wagon, a model that is no longer made, and our whole family loved it. It was always the right temperature, very comfortable, and could carry all our stuff. My brother and I used to love flattening the back seat down and sleeping in the car in the garage. However, my mom died of lung cancer a few years ago. None of us could bear seeing the car every day and remembering her, so we sadly had to give it away. However, I think of my dear mother every time I see one of those rare cars now, and I feel like I’m ready to have one for myself. Maybe I’ll get one once I pay off my medical school loans. J
Band – The best class
by admin on Jul.26, 2010, under Uncategorized
I recently graduated from high school near the top of my class. I enjoyed nearly every class I took during those four years, but the one class I looked forward to attending every single day was Band. I had the best teacher ever – he truly cared about every single student and encouraged us to try our best at everything. I also made a plethora of friends in that class who I will stay in touch with forever. I started to play the clarinet in 6th grade, and I plan to keep playing through college. I also loved being in the marching band, and helping the rookie freshmen become the best players and marchers that they could be.

Wolves
by admin on Jul.22, 2010, under Uncategorized
Wolves have been my favorite animals my whole life, ever since I saw “The Jungle Book” and loved the wolves that raised Mowgli. They are such powerful and brave creatures, yet they participate in the union of a pack and care for each member. The pups are cared for by the entire pack and nurtured until they are as strong as the adults. Also, the tenderness with which their moms treat them is so heartwarming, and utterly heartbreaking for me when ignorant poachers shoot the beautiful creatures and leave their children crying in the snow to die. I recommend The Sight, a wonderful fantasy book about wolves, if you are interested.

Glamour.com is definitely my favorite website for many reasons. I’m a young lady, and it contains tons of information that’s directly relevant to me. There’s everything from sex advice to fashion tips and everything in between. I can also chat with other viewers, comment on articles, and enter sweepstakes to win prizes. Glamour.com has also saved my life, in a way – there’s health news and tips every day, and one of the articles was talking about a certain personal health issue that I was experiencing but had decided that it wasn’t serious. The article said that if I didn’t get it treated quickly, I could get seriously ill, so I went to my doctor and now I’m fine. However, he said I could be dead right now if I’d waited any longer. I love Glamour.com!
